A few weeks ago, I hosted two “Gifts from Spirit” events back to back, the first in Barre, VT, on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, and in Gorham, NH, on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. I want to document what happened at these two events because they blew my socks off..
To be clear, I’ve been a professional medium since 2017. As one does this work, like any muscle, it grows in relation to how much it’s used. Over the past year or so, I’ve been receiving messages about items to bring to specific events, and it began as a single item - like a dozen yellow roses or a purple horse - but now it’s turned into multiple gifts for multiple people.
I’m honored to be both the conduit and the conductor of each event. I want to document for posterity’s sake and record these tangible examples of evidence for people whose loved ones still carry on. Also, it’s a TON of fun to host events like these! I hope you enjoy the smiles and the stories that unfolded over each event!
Barre, VT - March 18th, 2025
Barre was a crowded event, and I’m so grateful for the folks who could make it out. We had a ton of laughs and a whole lot of gasps as the connections were made. As it has also happened, each event is opened by a spirit not connected to any gifts. A grandmother came through with a message about family land and how important it is to keep the family land in the family. She mentioned her macaroni and cheese recipe, the horses on the farm, and the apple trees there. When I looked for a volunteer, a woman raised her hands and told me and the rest of the audience about how this was a pertinent conversation for her family. This was her grandmother coming through, who was concerned about the value of the property staying in the family and giving future generations a place to live.
Strangely, " openers " are coming through that don’t have anything to do with the gifts, which is an interesting part of the process. These messages are given to me by the angel (or angels) who help me a week or two before each event, and this speaks to the incredible love and intelligence involved in the process. I have no idea why some people get gifts and others don’t, other than each person receiving gifts is exceptional and good, and each reading would benefit every other audience member..
Here’s the first gift recipient:
The Journal and the Jellyrolls
I knew a woman in the audience would have a grandmother’s journals. I had to get a lovely journal and a nice pen for her journal. There was wisdom in that, as it was necessary to document her life like her grandmother did. A couple of women raised their arms, but the final gift would determine who these were for.
I had to get jelly rolls.
No one could make sense of the jelly rolls. I thought it was a family recipe until something dinged for me. It wasn’t an actual jelly roll, but the ARTIST Jelly Roll. The woman this was for finally put it together. She told us that her grandson passed away a few days before Christmas of 2024, and she began hearing Jelly Roll’s song, I Am Not Okay, at strange times, and the song came to haunt her.
Spirit speaks to us all the time.
The Shirley Temple Grandfather
Next up, a grandfather who had a “man cave” and made Shirley Temples for his grandkids. I also had to get blackjack and items to make pineapple pizzas. Every time I heard “pineapple,” it was accompanied by a laugh. I could see this man in sunglasses.
A woman raised her hand, letting me know her deceased husband gambled (but wouldn’t take her with him as she was “bad luck”!) He wore sunglasses (his “lady watchers!”) and made his grandkids Shirley Temples. She then told me that she didn’t like any of the food when they went on vacation to Hawaii and would only eat pineapple.
But it was more than that. The card shuffler and the cards were actually for Blackjack because he wanted his grandkids to come over (they still did), play games (which they still did), and make food (the pineapple pizza).
But I got the wrong soda - I’ve never had a Shirley Temple, and the recipes online called for 7-UP. They’re made with ginger ale, but she said she’d make do!
His Queen, not his Servant
The next one was tough. An “Amelia Bedelia” book, toilet wipes, a duster, cherry hard candies, and a set of pearls.
Like, what??
The grandmother with me was upset that her granddaughter was treated like a servant. This was tough because the woman who raised her hand and put the pieces together gave me a complicated scenario.
First, her grandmother always had cherry hard candies. This woman in the audience was a teacher familiar with Amelia Bedelia but had never read the books.
Her husband was in a wheelchair, though. This woman was raising her granddaughter as well. The woman shared that her husband may have been reckless in the accident that caused his accident, but I was taken aback by the fact that the grandmother wanted her husband to help out around the house. The message was clear: You’re his Queen, not his servant!
Why the pearls, though? This woman had pearls from her mom from back in the day, when a program would send a single pearl at a time through the mail. She sold those pearls to get money for her husband’s care.
There was a deeper story than the woman shared with the audience. Still, the Amelia Bedelia book made it clear: if she felt like a maid, perhaps she could do her best to find humor in it….and maybe her husband might be able to do something around the house to contribute.
The Lawn Tractor Dads
There’s a grandson out there, fixing his grandmother’s lawn tractor. I was initially going to find a manual on fixing lawn tractors, but that would only be specific to the model. Instead, I got a candle of “cut grass,” a wrench set, and a bag of beef jerky.
The woman who raised her hand said her son fixed her mom’s Kubota tractor, just like I said. Her dad didn’t like beef jerky, but her husband’s father did - and her husband sat beside her. Two dads were coming through; both were mechanics, and the wrenches meant so much! This was super cool, and we talked about the woman taking better care of herself. She had to make time for her health, or she would make time for her illness.
The Survivor
The last one was a doozy. The “finale” of the evening was going to be intense, and she had a very special gift for what she survived. Going into the event, I knew I had to get this person a $50 gift certificate from a tattoo place. Whatever tattoo place in Barre would also have a hard “B” sound in the name - and upon research, I found the only one: Bury the Needle. Before the event, I got a $50 gift certificate for this person, who would have also read the entire collection of the Babysitter’s Club growing up. I had to get her the complete set of the old versions from the Eighties.
I couldn’t tell which spirit this was, as this woman had an entire team around her. It wasn’t the spirits that were important but the gifts and the message they represented. We talked about how getting a tattoo is like a ceremony to help people become a new version of themselves, and how she had to take care of the girl who loved the Babysitter’s Club.
The other book I got her was important: Surviving a Narcissist. This person would have been a survivor of a deeply troubled person. Weirdly, there were a few people who both read the Babysitter’s Club and survived a narcissist, but I asked the question that determined who it was. Who had a connection to a phoenix tattoo? The woman in the front row said her abuser had a giant phoenix tattoo on his back.
But the strangest connection was that she had the book on narcissism in her Amazon shopping cart at that very moment.
Well, she didn’t need to have it in there anymore!
Look at these amazing people, all full of love and joy at being gifted by Spirit! The grandmother who showed her granddaughter that songs like Jelly Roll’s mean something to us, the grandfather and husband with the Shirley Temples, the grandmother who didn’t want her granddaughter to be a servant, the two dads who were mechanics, and finally the entire team of loved ones around the abuse survivor - they were all there to show us we’re watched over constantly!
Gorham, NH - March 19th, 2025
The next day’s event wasn’t nearly as well attended, but no less potent because of it!
I was in the Medallion Opera House with a smaller crowd, so the gifts would have a smaller chance of landing with the right person. This is such a scary thing to coordinate because I’m rolling the dice that each set of gifts might cause me to fall on my face - there’s no guarantee that what’s coming to my mind from Spirit is accurate!
But I’ve come to trust what I’m getting, time and again.
The Budweiser-drinking Horseshow Player
First up was a dad who was upset that his people weren’t playing horseshoes anymore. He drank Budweiser and loved to barbecue. I had to get his people a horseshoe set, a barbecue set (with a barbecue rub called “Pig’s Ass” no less!), and a six pack of Budweiser.
Two sisters in the front row told me this was their dad. One sister lived in his house, but they’d turned his old horseshoe pits into a firepit and a garden bed (if I remember correctly). He missed people coming together, enjoying good food, and playing games together. The message was clear:
They’d best start! This is important because Spirit reminds me that we only have so much time with our family while we’re here, alive on Earth. We should make the most of it!
The Big-haired Friend
A woman who was a lifelong friend came through for her friend. Four gifts - Folgers coffee singles, as well as coffee candy. Macrame plant hangers, and finally a hair brush. Here’s where it gets extra strange…
A woman raised her hand and had a Sicilian friend for 45 years who’d recently just passed. She had a HUGE head of hair. The woman in the audience did indeed drink coffee with her friend, and the single-serve coffee bags (like tea bags) were exactly what she used every day. She had a ton of plants in her home that really needed to be hung up and cared for better, but the hairbrush was the strangest thing…
The woman in the audience had lost her hair brush that very day.
The Squirrel-crazy Dog
This next one was strange as well - at least, extra odd. More bizarre than usual.
At my house, I feed the birds and see red squirrels daily. I looked out the morning of this event and saw a gray squirrel - so big!! I thought it was another owl sitting on the limb, as we’d had one recently. I had never seen a gray squirrel anywhere near our house, and this beast hasn’t reappeared since.
I had to get a stuffed squirrel for a dog that was squirrel crazy. I also had to get a Kong Frisbee and a jar of dog peanut butter. The woman who raised her hand had a dog that would never allow squirrels in her yard - gray ones specifically - and who loved to play with toys. The frisbee was a gift to the dog currently in the house, and the peanut butter was a reference to her as a princess. She didn’t like to eat regular dog food, so it always had to be dressed up so she would eat it.
But yeah, the spirit of a dog. It happens, and I’m so happy to provide evidence of it!
The Regretful Mechanic
A man was next, with Orange Glo hand cleaner indicating he was a mechanic. Strangely, I didn’t want to get it because I want all the gifts to be pragmatic - I want people to be able to use them. Along with the hand cleaner, a bib for a very hungry baby, and a set of Tonka trucks for the other kids in the family.
The woman sitting next to the dog owner raised her hand. This was her ex, who she kept in touch with and stayed good friends after their split. They’d had kids and now grandkids. He was a mechanic and used this hand cleaner, and I loved how all the gender stuff got flipped on its head. The Tonka trucks were for a little granddaughter who loved playing with boy toys, and the bib was for a newborn.
The hand cleaner was for their daughter, who was at that very moment a mechanic in a local garage! It would get used after all!!
The Grandmother from Candyland
The next set of gifts would be the “finale,” and a doozy of one. First, Candyland and a particular brand of small peppermint patties. The final gift was a romance novel with Fabio on the cover.
After a woman raised her hands, she told me this was her grandmother coming through. She grew up with an abusive mother who wouldn’t let her eat candy, and when she visited her grandmother, she always played Candyland with her and let her have those same mints. Then, she told me she loved those steamy “bodice rippers,” especially Fabio himself.
There was a lot of talk about regret in the world of Spirit, especially by those who would cause us pain and harm. They do sit with their actions, but the message was necessary for this woman to hear: play with her own granddaughter, enjoy the candies, and especially get back to enjoying those books, especially if they brought her pleasure in a challenging world to live in. There was more to the reading, but you had to be there…
Finally, look at those smiles!! This is my favorite part, and I’ve said it before: Spirit has turned me into Santa Claus. The dad who wanted his family to play horseshoes again, the big-haired friend who missed her “sister,” the squirrel-crazy dog, the regretful mechanic, and the grandmother from Candyland all wanted to pass on these messages - and gifts! - through to their loved ones.
I could do this work without the gifts, but walking away with this tangible evidence of Spirit’s everlasting love is just icing on the cake! If you were at either the Barre, VT, or Gorham, NH, event, thank you for bringing your love, your stories, and your spirits. Remember that they’ll always be with you, wanting the best for you…and every once in a while, they’ll have a chance to show it to you with a gift or three!
